Velocity Mall has always been one of my nightmare places that I'm scared to visit. It's huge, the parking is located in the basement, far from the mall. It's kinda tragic to deal with continuous panic attacks every time I visited this place.
So, today my mom and I wanted to go there to collect my new glasses (together with my sister's) at OWL that is located at the B floor. I did ask my mom last night if we could go during morning since I thought my condition is better during morning rather than evening, and she said yes.
But panic attack doesnt has a schedule whether you will get it or not. It will come without us knowing. I could get it while sweeping a floor, I could get it while drinking a hot chocolate, I could get it while resting on the book doing nothing. More than four years I've been struggling with this and nothing can fix it.
I got the sensation around 10 AM and the peak was 11 AM when we already arrived. We chose valet parking since the door was closer to the mall and I couldnt even get off from the car because the panic attack (agoraphobia). It was hell, every time I got the attacks, it must be hell. Mom and I, we stayed in the car for 40 minutes when I finally got enough courage to step out and walked into the mall. My heart was beating fast, felt like I could faint anytime sooner. Since it was still morning, the mall hadn't packed yet with people (Thank God!).
I sat on the wood bench, I sat around 15 minutes to breathe and then continue to walk again. My steps were heavy, like I was dragging myself.
I managed to enter their supermarket and found Japanese Food section. I was amazed because all their packaging were so cute. Everything was written in Japanese. I liked Japanese Food section more than Korean.
But, I didnt grab anything since I was under panic attack so I couldnt think properly. It's just nice to see that we can still get products from other countries here in this mall. They have everything and I think I know where to buy imported ingredients now when I want to cook.
When I think my condition was a little better, that was when I told mom lets go to collect my glasses. This is my first time to try OWL brand. I've been very faithful with Focus Point until this year. I also found out that OWL's price is little cheaper and affordable compared to Focus Point. In case youre wondering what OWL stands for, it's Obsessed With Look and they used a cute owl logo as their official.
The story begins like this, my sister's glasses was broken. Her eyewear snapped lmao and she currently used contact lenses for emergency route. We went to Velocity Mall too before this, a day when I purchased my first Innisfree My Palette and we stumbled across OWL. We just wanted to know and maybe stalked how OWL's designs for their glasses.
My sister found a design that she loved, well, that's because she said that the glasses kinda matched with BTS's V (Taehyung) and she immediately signed up to purchase one lol. The staff said, if you purchase another one you would get 50% off and my mom asked my sister to buy one for me. And with that, I got myself a new eyewear.
The cases were cute too! Mine was in grey and that was my new eyewear. We matched in designs, it's just my sister's is in gold color.
I went to chill for a while at my favorite coffee spot, Doutor Coffee located at Ground Floor. Their coffee is the greatest, even better than Starbucks. I did everything to keep myself calm just because I wanted my mom to have a sip of her favorite Creme Brulee Coffee. We didnt eat, well I couldnt eat because the panic attack was still there. It wont stop bothering me. I've been craving for their Mentai Shrimp pasta but I had no appetite.
It's like, if I had to order it, it would take more than 15 minutes and what if I got extreme panic attack during that time? I can't leave the food away because I paid for it. It would be a waste. But I wanted to eat it. I even had a little argument with my mom because they dont serve Creme Brulee coffee in cup (take away). I was pissed and I probably looked rude in front of the staffs. Those overthinking thoughts always lingered when I was in panic attacked and I really hate it.
Mom did order waffles which wont take long. We sat and she enjoyed her coffee while I was remained silent because I felt guilty for acting like that every time I had the attacks. Done with the coffee, I asked mom if I could get their cake for take away and she said okay. At least there would be something for me to eat at home.
OMG the cake tasted soooo good like oh god, you gotta try this out. My last visit was last year and finally I could remember again how this amazing cake taste like. When you visit Doutor Coffee, make sure you try this and you will not regret. I promise! They have a lot of amazing food and if I wanted to recommend, they would be:

The last place I visited was Innisfree. I wanted to purchase more of the MY SHADOWS just to make my palette looks pretty lol. The store didn't packed like usual and yes, I could finally choose the shadows without any interruptions.
Unfortunately, most of the shadows were sold out. And the colors I had been wanting to purchase actually not that pigmented when I swatches them all on my own eyes. But I did grab three square shadows (+1 free) including a concealer and the total would be four. I also bought powder puff for my The Face Shop sebum control powder because it was completely ruined lol.
