Get Unready With Me | Night Skincare Routine

My night routine usually started with makeup remover (if I put any makeup on) or just proceed with cleanser. 

1) CLEANSER

My current favorite cleanser is this wonderful product by WISHTREND. This does not leave my skin feel extremely dry and it has tiny scrubs which you can scrub all those dirts away from your skin.

2) TONER

KLAIRS Supple Preparation Facial Toner

As soon as I'm done with cleansing, wipe your face with clean towel and proceed with toning right away. Here, I'm using a toner from Klairs. This has been my second favorite toner after Hada Labo. If you read my morning skin care routine, yes, I used two different toners. This is because Klairs provide extra protection for my skin and I decided to use this as my night skin care routine.

3) EYE CREAM

Alright for eye cream, I'm using the same product for my morning skin care routine. Twice a day.

Guess what, I'm still searching for good eye cream. /sighs

This obviously not working well for me.

4) SERUM

This is a serum from The Face Shop and I love it because it moisturize my skin so well. I was so obsessed with chia seeds before this and I remembered I bought this because it was from chia seed collection line. I never deal any breakout issue since I purchased this.

The scent of this serum is quite strong and if you guys are truly sensitive with smell, this serum is not for you. It is also kinda sticky. What a bummer.

This serum is suitable for all skin type, especially dry skin. It is formulated with extract of Chia Seed, which absorbs up to 10 times its own weight in moisture. It also forms a natural jelly-like film to lock in moisture.

A Day In My Skin | Morning Skincare Routine

This is my current skincare routine that I do for months now. So, let's just get into the details.

Morning has always been a pretty rough for me and as soon as I woke up, I'd check my face in the mirror and stares. It's just a daily habit and I do that to check if my face has new breakout or any redness.

1) SCRUBS

First, it's gotta be scrubs.

ST. IVES Blemish Control Apricot Scrub (RM 22)

PIKO Coffee Scrub (RM 25)

THE FACE SHOP Smart Peeling White Jewel (RM 52.89)

I have three type of scrubs that I used so far and of course, I do not use these at the same time. It depends on my mood. Out of the three scrubs, my favorite would be PIKO because it smells so good (coffee, duh!) and give instant result. The texture is rough so make sure you dont scrub everyday when you used PIKO. Once a week will be fine. The coffee scrub is already mixed with Vitamin E, so you will feel little sticky after you wash away.

As for the St. Ives, this would be my second favorite. The scrub is no longer feel harsh on the skin like previous years. I personally think St. Ives has made some improvement for the formula because it does not hurt your face.

TFS is a very gentle scrub. It does not hurt your skin at all because the texture is really smooth and I'd recommend this for those who has sensitive skin. You can use this scrub everyday. 

I changed my scrubs depend on my mood so it's not fix.

2) CLEANSER

HADA LABO Deep Clean & Blemish Control Face Wash

I have an oily skin and this is by far my favorite cleanser because it feels so gentle on skin and doesnt leave my skin feel tight and dry. It still can't be use to remove makeup properly, especially around the eyes. So, in case you want to skip using makeup remover and use a cleanser instead, then this cleanser is not for you.

I used this twice a day and this cleanser combines natural cleansing properties with superior hydrating ingredient of hyaluronic acid to deep clean without drying skin and helps prevent blemishes to reveal a smooth radiant complexion.

For a cleanser, I'm not really picky... so if I finish with this product, I'd definitely change into another new products because I like to experience my face with different type of cleansers.

Done with the cleanser, I'm wiping my face with a clean towel and proceed into intense care.

3) AMPOULE

YADAH Brightening Ampoule

30 mL

For the usage, use it after washing the face. You can treat it as a weekly facial treatment. This is by far my most favorite product in my skincare routine. I used this everyday, twice per day. This has helped a lot in term of improving my skin texture and get rid of the dullness. I'd definitely repeat the order after I finish with this bottle.

The texture looked sticky but it's not. The stickiness gone as soon as you pat this all over your skin. It smells good, not too strong; just perfectly fine. It also absorb fast. I used around 2-3 drops of this.

4) TONER

HADA LABO Hydrating Lotion Light

170 mL

The texture is super light and looks exactly like water. It's thinner than Klairs Supple Toner. It's not sticky and really hydrating. This lotion (toner) actively infuses 4 types of Hyaluronic Acids (HA) from the surface to inner skin layers for significantly moist, refined and plumped up skin.

This does not make my skin look oily and the light texture is totally make you feel like you wear nothing on your face.

This is the toner that I used during morning, I used different toner for night and I will update you my night skincare routine in the next post.

5) EYECREAM

NUTOX Eye Refiner

Next is the eye cream and I'm currently using this one. My previous eye cream was from The Face Shop and I didn't like how it stung my eyes so bad that my tears started to fall. It was a good product since it provided moisture around my eyes area but that was the cons.

For Nutox, the texture is light, easily absorb and does not sting my eyes. It claims to reduce puffiness, dark circle and anti wrinkle. I already hit my 20's and I really need that "anti wrinkle" so bad lmao. I've been using it for weeks and to be honest, I haven't seen any changes in term of wrinkle but it does its job to reduce dark circles. 

It is hard to find a really good eye cream and just like the cleanser, after I finish using this I will find another products to try. If you have any good product to suggest, please write it down in the comment section below.

6) SERUM

THE FACE SHOP Chia Seed Moisture Recharge Serum

This serum is freshly germinated Chia Seed extract that moisturizes and leaves skin looking and fresh looking. The texture is sticky and thick. You can feel slight stickiness when you apply all over your face but it produce an instant glowing and makes your skin looks healthy somehow. 

It feels little heavy on skin and I only used generous amount for this product. Nevertheless, it is a good product to provide extra moisture for your skin and I'd recommend it.

7) SUNSCREEN

HADA LABO Perfect UV

(RM 55+)

This is by far my most favorite sunscreen because it's light, not sticky and fast absorb. It also makes your skin look glowing and not greasy. My previous sunscreen was YADAH's but I changed it because I felt this one is even better. The smell is not as strong as YADAH's and it can be use as makeup base too. 

This is an amazing product, does not clog my pores, no white cast and does not making my face oily. I wear this everyday even when I do not go out. It's like an extra protection for the skin.

This is by far my current morning skincare routine and of course you dont have to follow all this steps. I just wanna share some of the products that I like. To be honest, my routine always change and I never fixed into one routine. I might change and try another products, lets hope for another product reviews because I just received two products recently. *winks*

I received a package from Wishtrend and it was a cute cleanser that is going to launch this month for By Wishtrend line. I was excited to try out this new product extension that is made from green tea (which is one of the main ingredients!)

Weight: 70g

Directions: Apply suitable amount on your hand and mix with water

                   and rub to create foam. Gently rub in a circular motion.

Wash off thoroughly with warm water.

PACKAGING

First, let's talk about the packaging. It came with a light green colored box and inside is a cute bottle of the product.

I found that it was hard to read everything written in the box because it used white and small font. Since the color is light green, it would be easier to read the information if they used a contrast color like black or dark blue.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A pH balancing, gently exfoliating cleansing powder formulated with green tea, papain enzymes and baking soda.

It maintains proper pH balance of the skin so as to prevent irritation or dryness after cleansing. Green tea powder and baking soda act as an exfoliator, removing all of the skin impurities.

TEXTURE

It is powder formulated cleanser which you can feel some bits if you touched rawly. The color of this powder is green as if like green tea and trust me, it smells so good! Please don't inhale this raw, you can smell it when you apply on your face.

It claimed that when it mix with water and rub, it will create foam but this cleanser really don't produce much foam.

APPLICATION ON SKIN

Since I shower twice a day and my whole body is wet, I don't have to 'mix' with water because my palm is already wet and you can just rub to create the foam. I gently exfoliate especially my T-Zone (forehead, nose, chin). The bits really gentle and mild so you don't have to worry about feeling the dryness because you won't. It's great to have anything 3 in 1 like this cleanser, like, it does its job in cleansing, exfoliating and polishing!

I took my time to exfoliate each area gently and I didn't experience any sting sensation when the product hit my eyes. The smell is so good, it smells like matcha green tea and I love it so much; especially my mom. She tried this cleanser once and she fell in love with the smells.

After I washed it off, I could feel my skin smooth and soft. It was the exact same feeling when I used Mary Jardin's Handcrafted Luxury Face Soap (click to see review). The differences are just this product does not make my skin feel tight, dry afterwards and it does not sting my eyes.

This cleanser is suitable for all skin type, especially good for oily and acne prone skin. I have an oily skin, however my pimples keep popping out to say hi recently and it bothers me a lot. It's a perfect time to receive and try this product and I can't wait to see if this cleanser really help to stop acne to happen. I will update after months using this!

I'm not sure if this cleanser is strong enough to remove your makeup and in my personal opinion, it is not. It's a very gentle cleanser that does not provide much foam. I did try using this cleanser to remove the makeup on my eyebrows, it did greatly but I doubt it can remove the eye makeup.

This is my first time to use a powder formulated cleanser and it excites me so much. It was such a great experience and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to try this out. 

PROS AND CONS

Pros:

Good ingredients.

Cleansing and exfoliating.

For all skin type.

Smells good, really.

Cute bottle.

Balancing skin's pH.

Does not dry out your skin.

Cons:

Hard to read on the packaging box.

I was asked by the Wishtrend Team if I wanted to test out the brand new product from Klairs and I immediately said yes!

I've been a fan of Klairs since their supple toner and my second product of Klairs would be this new Vitamin E Mask. I received the package in a good condition and when I did the unboxing, I was stunned because of the beautiful packaging.

The box was white with holographic. It looked so minimalist and I really like it. Since my favorite color is white, I already feeling excited before testing out the product!

It is well protected with a cover and given one small cute spatula.

Lets get into the product descriptions. This mask claims:

➤ Vitamin E and Niacinamide excellent antioxidant and whitening effect, can immediately see the brightening and firming effect the next day (rapid effects).

➤ When used during the day, it can protect from sunlight and prevent skin damage.

➤ Maximum formulation limit of adenosine effective for wrinkle improvement and skin regeneration.

➤ Firm, hydrating finish with excellent adhesion.

The Vitamin E in this mask acts as a skin booster that not only delivers excellent antioxidants power, but also benefits for dry, sensitive and aging skin.

I have an oily skin, so felt a little bit worried that this mask might not for me.

I also found out that this product will work even better when you used it together with one of the Klairs products, the Vitamin C. This is because they will enhance the effectiveness of each other through antioxidants network and protect the skin from active oxygen, preventing aging!

Adenosine

1) Active ingredient prescribed in maximum dose, to serve the function of improving wrinkles.

2) Strengthens fibroblast proliferation in dermal layer, and promotes collagen synthesis.

3) Possesses powerful anti-inflammatory properties, making it effective in wound healing and regeneration.

4) Effectively improves acne caused by oily skin.

TIPS

1) Vitamin E is an oil that is great for moisturizing. If your skin is usually not compatible with oils, use only after plenty of inquiries.

2) Start out by using only a small amount at first and find the amount that works for you. Due to the nature of vitamin E, the stickiness increases when a large amount is used.

3) The moisturizing effects increase when mixed with a cream or essence. Try mixing a tiny amount to products that lacked moisturizing power.

You can mix the mask with your favorite skin care product and enjoy an upgraded version of additional brightening, wrinkle-repairing and moisturizing with the antioxidants power.

TEXTURE

The texture of the mask is exactly like pudding. This pudding-like texture transforms into a rich essence when in contact with skin. Thus, maintaining the moisture for at least 8 hours! This is probably the holy grail product for dry skins.

Did you know the name of this texture? It is called as "Shape memory cream". This is because no matter how much you scooped the product out with the spatula given, the product will come back to the same shape as it was! This texture helps the product tightly adheres onto the skin, giving an even and flat surface when application.

APPLICATION ON SKIN

I tried this during day and found out that it felt so heavy on my skin, so I changed it to night. I used this as sleeping mask for every night. You can't use your finger to get the product because it would be difficult. Try using spatula that they already provided.

This mask smells like citrus. Kinda like herbal-ly too. It's like the normal Klairs scented. It doesn't have a strong scent that might disturb you though. The smells is tolerable.

First application, it felt sticky even though I only applied small amount and that's why I preferred to use this during night. I'm not sure for someone with dry skin, this product might work well if they wear during day. But for me who has an oily skin, I recommended using it during night time!

But do not worry too much, the stickiness comes from the nature of Vitamin E. So, when large amount is used, the stickiness also increases.

The next day, I woke up with my face not looking oily and the feeling of stickiness also gone. When I washed it with water, I could feel the mask came off slippery. After fully washed with cleanser, my skin felt soft and smooth.

Ive been using this product for 21 days and decided to write my honest review after tested it out at least more than two weeks.

In term of aging, it still going to take some time to see that effect but for brightness, I can see the effect after two days using it. My skin's texture also improves well.

To be completely honest, I dont really buy it when products claim that it will brighten your skin immediately. I also don't like to say my skin tone became lighter because of this mask. I would put it like, this mask has made my skin not looking dull and also gives a very natural glowing. It also has many good ingredients and benefits to your skin and so far I'm liking this mask. No, I LOVE IT.

The sticky might be annoying but if it's an amazing product, I would tolerate with it.

Even though I couldn't wear this during day, but for those who can actually wear it then it's good and you need it because this mask will provide you protection from sunlight and prevent skin damage!

I also find my skin becomes smoother and makes the makeup application easier. I like how my skin looks during day because of the natural glowing. My mother also noticed how my skin texture improved as she always asked me, "Your skin is glowing," well, which is a good news to hear (not gonna lie).

#3 B. Station; Ampang a Cute Korean Cafe!

Yesterday on 30 September 2017, my mom, sister and me went to B. Station cafe located near Ampang to have a taste of Korean food because it had been a while for me. I did search about the cafe and I was struck by the interior because it was so beautiful, like floral theme everywhere.

It took us less than 10 minutes to arrive and Taman Ampang Utama is a place for Korean village where you can see a lot of Korean cafe, marts and more. But for now, my choice was B. Station.

It's a small and cute cafe with floral theme. Nothing like floral scent was detected when I came inside though lol.

I'm sorry that I did not take much photos for food because I was having panic attacks at the moment. But I did snapchat and insta story everything. But this was what we ordered. I'll list down the name and the prices.

Dumpling Soup - RM 20

Beancurd Bulgogi - RM 26.50

Spicy Korean Fried Chicken - RM 22.50

Hot Cafe Latte - RM 9.50

Belgium Waffle - RM 12.80

Dude, every single food that went into my mouth tasted like art. The coffee was good, I could not get enough how good the coffee taste like so I ordered another coffee; Iced Caramel Latte (I forgot the price). Every time you visit a cafe, coffee is a MUST.

They gave us pumpkin soups for service. It was my first time to taste it and I kinda like it. Sweet and very creamy.

Dumpling Soup was fresh and soft. The soup can be a hangover soup because it taste so fresh. I could find tteok (rice cakes) inside the soup too. Very chewy and not hard.

Beancurd Bulgogi was my sister's. A full complete meal with meat and veggies. Tasted wonderful, especially the rice. Korean rice is very soft and sticky and I like it.

The Spicy korean Fried Chicken not that spicy like I thought. You can eat it. It wasnt spicy at all. The chickens were crunchy and well coated with korean's gochujang. Sweet and sour.

The belgium waffle for dessert! Not that sweet, just the way I like it. Belgium waffles are little chewy and hard compared to normal waffles but thats one of the charms. I loved it! I would ask for this next time together with hot coffee. The waffles might look like it would hurt your teeth but it's not. It was not sweet to the point you cringe. 

I did not find any cakes in the menu so I think they dont serve cakes? Might ask them about that when I visit next time. It'd be weird for a cafe to not have cakes but oh well. 

If one thing I would want to complain is the air conditioner did not work properly lol. It was a little hot inside.

The toilet was really clean and the korean staff was very nice and friendly too.

Overall, I appreciated this experience where I found a cute cafe with cute concept and cute interior as well. The space might be a little trigger for me because it's small but the food was good! I think all Korean cafes tend to look like this though, am I wrong?

Nevertheless, you NEED to check this place out by yourself so that you can experience the cuteness too!

Also, after done with dinner, I decided to stop into Korean Mart and my sister bought me this.

I've been wanting that ice cream for so long because of Running Man lol. It was so sweet tho, I liked it but the sweetness of chocolate was too much for me. Not really a fan of sweet so I did not finish the ice cream and gave it to my sister. 

The signature banana milk, well, all time favorite. 💚
