THOUGHTS

Honestly, I kinda have a mixed feeling over this toner. A love-hate relationship. First, I love how my skin looks so fresh clean without pores after I used it. Second, I hate that it makes my skin feel so tight and dry whenever I apply it onto my skin. It's gotta be the alcohol denat in the ingredients that makes my skin feel so tight and dry, that require me wanting to apply moisturiser asap! 

Those who has dry skin please avoid this toner at all cost!

When I first smell it, gosh, it smells like alcohol and peppermint, and the tingling sensation if I used this toner with cotton pad, can't be avoid. It had peppermint which kinda makes my skin so fresh, I'll give it that. But the tight and dry sensation kinda ruined the experience imo.

Do not use it everyday.

Thank god I dont have any bad reaction so far but to avoid damaging your skin, I'd suggest you use it once a week because of the strong sensation.

THOUGHTS

This product is focusing on fixing our skin texture but it's too early for me to tell. I'll update when I finish the bottle but so far, my skin is loving it because there is no scent and no irritating feeling upon applying.

Nevertheless, I can understand why it's one of the top products because it removes dead skin thus making skin looks brighter than usual. I got a pimple that night and I wanted to try on it, it reduce the inflammation and became less swollen in few days. Not so sure if it was a coincidence or because of the product. Though I heard this is a godly product to remove acnes, must be it then!

Even though this is a very gentle exfoliator, I'd recommend you to patch test first just in case you get any bad reaction.

Makeup looks better and fresher when you used it before. I used it during AM since retinol is my PM routine.

HOW TO USE

Apply 1 or 2 pumps of the Vitamin A-mazing Night Cream after the serum step. Check your skin’s reaction to the product by using a small amount. Increase the amount little by little to find the appropriate amount for your skin. 1 pump per use is recommended. Be careful not to exceed 2 pumps.

If you have sensitive skin or if you are new to vitamin A products, we recommend adjusting the amount or frequency.
(ex. Depending on your skin condition, use it twice a week for 2 weeks → then use it 3 times a week for 2 weeks, etc.)

THOUGHTS

What I like about this is I don't feel greasy when I apply it all over my face because the texture is fast absorb. There is also a faint smell but dont worry, it wont disturb all the experience with this amazing product.

I noticed all my pores become less visible after using this and regarding the skin texture, I still need to use it longer to say anything about it.

They used retinal instead of retinol because retinal converts faster into Vitamin A than Retinol, thus you will receive quicker results on the skin.

My skin didn't feel irritated or sting upon application and I believe with continued use, I'll receive great results. I don't feel the need to stop using it, so I'll use it until completion. If you're looking for something with less side effects but great results, then this is for you.

I find it's hard to blend a little with this foundation and if you're not careful, you might end up looking cakey though it claims to be weightless. The coverage is medium as I can still see my acne scar on my chin (what a bummer) but dont worry, you can conceal it with your favorite concealer.

After 4 hours, I started looking oily and need a little touch up with powder. Hate it when they claimed to be shine proof, sweat proof bla bla bla. I sweat a lot okay (because of the stupid anxiety meds I take) and this foundation did not help with my sweating. Sometimes I wonder what it means by sweat proof? 

Though, foundation is still a foundation. It still makes my skin looks great from far but if you come closely... 

The foundation also smudge after hours wearing it. It stained on my shirt's collar and glasses (not cute). I wouldnt recommend and won't repeat on this product again.

Another sunscreen greatness comes from Y.O.U brand, guys. The name is Sunbrella Intensive Care Aqua Sunscreen with UV SPF50+ PA++++ . To be honest, I've heard many great reviews about all Y.O.U sunscreens tho and Sunbrella gotta be my first Y.O.U sunscreen product to try.

Sunbrella claims to be lightweight and watery texture but when I first applied onto hand, it looks thick at first but fast absorb and not sticky as soon as you rubbed it of. Did I mention that Sunbrella is perfect for sensitive and acne skin? Yes, it is. There is no redness, no tingling and no white cast when you use this.

SMART PHOTOSENSITIVE DESIGN

I was like what does it mean? So, it means that Sunbrella bottle design has a reminder for us to reapply. If you look closely, there is a sun icon.

I dont know if this is important or really helpful but it's cool to see that Y.O.U used a smart photosensitive design as a reminder for us to reapply.

THOUGHTS

You know that applying sunscreen before makeup is important, right? I have no problem with this sunscreen at all as it is buildable too, meaning it build well with foundation. I also love the feeling of coolness when I smeared the product all over my face and it doesnt make my face looks greasy at all.

Sunbrella also came with travel size but the bottle itself is already cute enough to fit into my skincare pouch. 

I just like how there is no white cast and lightweight which wont make my face feels stuffy. Everything about this sunscreen screams greatness for those with sensitive and acne skin. I will add this into one of my favorite sunscreens for sure.

COSRX SERUMS THAT I REALLY LOVE (AND YOU SHOULD TOO)!!!

 Hello, beauties. In this posting, I'll share with you about serums that I love from COSRX. The serums that truly working for me and might be working for you too (I hope!). For me, I personally think that COSRX really helps with someone who has troubled skin like acne, scars and pores. Those who has normal to oily-skin type should consider changing their old products to COSRX.

Without wasting more time, let's proceed with first product:

1. COSRX THE NIACINAMIDE 15 SERUM

Some might think that the niacinamide is way too high in this products, but me personally, I experienced nothing but good things when I used this serum.

This product is suitable with acne prone skin and even with those who has large pores (like me). Since acne is not my main concern, the reason I bought the serum is to help with my large pores especially on nose and around my cheeks area.

I always put this on before proceed with makeup to make sure my pores less visible when I apply foundation all over my face. Totally loving it when I see there was no pores on my nose! Thus, making the application of foundation very smooth.

I like the way my face looks when I used this serum because I mainly used it to make my pores less visible and I am sure I'm gonna purchase this serum again.

2. COSRX REFRESH AHA/BHA VITAMIN C BOOSTER SERUM

When I found out that we need to include vitamin c in our skincare, the only brand that came to my mind is COSRX. I tried to include vitamin c and niacinamide in my skincare since my main concern is large pores, you know. I know there are lots of good vitamin c serums out there but the only reason I decided to purchase this serum is because of the AHA/BHA ingredients.

We all know an oily skin needs that ingredients so bad, so now that AHA/BHA also in this Vitamin C serum... I don't think much and checked out immediately. I don't need to worry about looking for AHA/BHA products when they have everything in this small bottle.

One thing I realized when I used COSRX products is their products don't have strong smell. Sometimes they don't smell like anything at all. There is no scent.  But for this serum, there is this faint scent that you can barely notice it. Don't worry, it wont disturb you to experience the greatness.

👉 For now, I've only tried two COSRX serums and I'm loving both of them. If I used more of their products, I'll update in this post only. Keep in mind that I dont use all these serums simultaneously.

We all know (or maybe some of you) that Song Jihyo, an actress, Running Man's member from Korea is the ambassador for this brand. This product climbed up as one of my top favorite moisturizers, beating others. Let me share with you about this product more.

I think I forgot to mention about the scent, right? I'm addicted to the citrusy smell which sometimes calm me down. I'm not even exaggerating here. Yall need to buy this product. This is the most perfect moisturizer that is non greasy and absorb fast. The application is smooth and we don't even need lot of product when applying it on the face.

I also woke up not feeling greasy, unless if I paired this with my retinol routine then my face will feel little greasy because of the retinol.
